Thomas Lockwood, Ph.D., President and founding partner
Thomas Lockwood is the co-author/editor of four books: Design Thinking (2010), The Handbook of Design Management (2011), Corporate Creativity (2008) and Building Design Strategy (2007). He is one of the few people in the world with a Ph.D. in Design Management, and is recognized as a thought leader at integrating design and innovation practice into business and building great design and UX organizations.
He is a design adviser to countries and to companies, a Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts in London, blogs for Fast Company, and been a visiting professor at Pratt Institute in New York City. He is a frequent design award judge and has been a speaker or led workshops in over 20 countries.
He is the president and founding partner of Lockwood Resource, an international recruiting firm specializing in design, UX, CX and innovation executive recruiting. He was the president of DMI, the Design Management Institute, a non-profit research association in Boston from 2005-2011, a Design Director at Sun Microsystems and StorageTek from 1995-2005, and a Creative Director in several design and advertising firms for a number of years. He runs workshops and manages a blog about Design Leadership and Innovation Culture.
More importantly, I have a beautiful wife and three children. I live in Boulder, Colorado, and in my free time enjoy photography, woodworking, exercise, travel and culture.

For the past 28 years Paul DiMarchi has been focused on retained executive recruiting. Paul helps with search strategy, process and methods, and helps our capacity as needed. He is a generalist retained recruiter who handles his own searches for executive talent in marketing, engineering, operations, finance, HR and general executive management.
Prior to retained recruiting Paul spent ten years with a national apparel retailer, opening and staffing hundreds of stores in California, Colorado and throughout the Midwest. Born in New York City, DiMarchi has dual majors in Economics and Psychology from the University of Minnesota.

Edgar Papke is an author, speaker and globally recognized expert in business alignment, leadership and organizational culture. He is the author of the book True Alignment: Linking Company Culture to Customer Needs for Extraordinary Results (Amacom Books) and numerous essays and articles on business and culture.
Edgar provides coaching and consulting to CEO’s and executives, delivers keynote speeches and presentations, and works with leadership teams to improve their alignment. He was recently honored as the International Speaker of the Year by Vistage, with over 17,000 members, the world’s largest organization for CEOs. Mr. Papke holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Organizational Psychology from Regis University, a B.S. in International Business Administration, and a degree from the Culinary Institute of America.
